Heart and Soul {I Heart Faces}
How appropriate that I Heart Faces is featuring a "heart and soul" theme to kick off CHD Awareness Month. I have a great giveaway coming up for CHD Awareness Week next week, and as we get ready for Ellie's fourth birthday, I am again amazed at what a difference her surgery made.
I went into the archives this week because I wanted to find a photo that shows both Ellie's zest for life and her heart surgery scar. So here she is, on the fourth of July, Daddy's hands close by, laughing in the water, and even chubby! It's hard to remember that aside from her chipmunk cheeks, she was a kind of scrawny baby.
