A few piles of snow remain on the shady side of the courtyard, but we sat outside with a few other families and chatted. Turns out that one of the other moms is basically a professional paper airplane maker, and Ellie was fairly determined to make a plane fly.

| The plane kept landing behind her. |

| She did better just pretending to make it fly. |
She eventually gave up and settled for pushing a friend's baby stroller around and laughing hysterically whenever a paper airplane hit anyone.
A little sunshine is so good for the soul. The grass was still wet from the melting snow, and there was a cool breeze, but it was exactly what we needed. Ellie is napping and the house is peaceful right now. I was happy to get my camera back out, even for a few minutes. I want photograph more this spring.
Enjoy your weekend.
In case you missed it, here's Ellie's latest quotes.
Other good stuff this week? This blog hop.
And this is more than a week old, but it's a wonderful post.
