Pray for these Babies.

For reasons I do not fully understand, Russia is moving rapidly toward outlawing US adoptions.  Ellie's friend Charlotte, an adoptee from Russia, has parents because of adoption.  Several of Charlotte's friends from her baby house are waiting for families.

Please sign this petition.

The thought of a child without parents, without a sense of belonging, without lasting love or a sense of permanence, breaks my heart.

Love changes people.  Look at these faces...

Long-time readers and local friends know Charlotte.  She's four, and has been home about nine months.

Paisley, almost four years old, home one year this week.

Lina, just celebrated her first Christmas home with her brothers and sister.

Elijah, 18 months, home just two months and what a difference!

Katie Ruth, age five, home seven months.

For more information, please read these articles, and most importantly, share and pray.

A piece from the Post.

Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. - 1 John 3:18

And a special Thank You to my friends Kelly and Amy for letting me share their children, and getting other photos for me with about an hour's notice!

  1. Sweet babies. I am so glad that their families found them. It is unfortunate that Russia is doing this because they cannot care for these children. I am not surprised though the problems with adoptions from Russia have been mounting and so many families have been harmed by the way children are cared for in the orphanages. I hope Russia sees the error in closing adoptions to the US because so many sweet babies have been helped through US adoption

  3. So very sad. Praying and signing the petion in honor of all the children waiting. Especially Sophia Grace who was rescued from bulgaria just last month and is already thriving here with her amazing family. Amazing to witness the transformation first hand.

  4. This is heartbreaking. You can see a world of difference in the before and after pictures of the children above. I pray that all of these beautiful children are allowed to be adopted by loving parents.
