{31 for 21} Happy Halloween!

I'll be posting Ellie's Halloween costume photos soon, but for today, I hope you all have a wonderful Halloween!  We still have power, our Halloween festivities will go on as planned, and I spent last night rushing to put together my costume because our school parties are also going forward.

We weathered Hurricane Sandy just fine, a few flickers of the lights (Ellie didn't find those "fine"), some branches down in the neighborhood, and a bit of stir-craziness.  We know that many, many people, especially in New York, were not so fortunate.

How we spent Hurricane Sandy:

Play dough with neighbors.

Reading books near our Arc.

We finally went out and got supplies for Halloween treats!

(So not a cooking blog, but I got asked on Instagram how to make those candy corn treats.  Kisses on a pretzel at 350 for four minutes.  Take 'em out.  Put on candy corn.  Let 'em cool.  Done.)
