Perspective.

Ellie is growing up.  She may be tiny, but she is finally big enough to face forward in her stroller.  She gains a whole new perspective, instead of just looking up at my face.

(Little baby, big world)

(So much to see from this angle.)

As Ellie gets older and more attentive, she's able to see and experience more.  Today (on our third outing in the 24 hours of "big girl stroller-riding") we saw flowers and butterflies.

Ellie gives me new perspective.  I love seeing the world through her eyes, and I have learned to focus on the important things in life since she's come along.

Important things like thankfulness for:
* family and friends
* early intervention services
* church friends who brought dinner every night for a week after Ellie's surgery
* a healthy baby
* amazing weather for the latest BOB running/walking adventures

And now, I'm headed out with a cranky baby who is just begging for another walk.

What are you thankful for this week?

  2. I love when babies are in the forward facing strollers. Makes it so much easier to squeal over them!

    As we're getting closer to moving, I'm so thankful I have Husband. He's nice to have around. :)

  4. So cute! I can see why she would be cranky until she can get out and see those beautiful sights again!
