(Little baby, big world) |
(So much to see from this angle.) |
As Ellie gets older and more attentive, she's able to see and experience more. Today (on our third outing in the 24 hours of "big girl stroller-riding") we saw flowers and butterflies.
Ellie gives me new perspective. I love seeing the world through her eyes, and I have learned to focus on the important things in life since she's come along.
Important things like thankfulness for:
* family and friends
* early intervention services
* church friends who brought dinner every night for a week after Ellie's surgery
* a healthy baby
* amazing weather for the latest BOB running/walking adventures
And now, I'm headed out with a cranky baby who is just begging for another walk.
What are you thankful for this week?
Lovely photos. She's such a little doll!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! So much more to be seen from that perspective. :-) Btw, I never mentioned to you, but Ellie is Miss December 2012. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love when babies are in the forward facing strollers. Makes it so much easier to squeal over them!
ReplyDeleteAs we're getting closer to moving, I'm so thankful I have Husband. He's nice to have around. :)
Yay for front facing! She can now see the beautiful world!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I can see why she would be cranky until she can get out and see those beautiful sights again!
ReplyDeleteBOB! You have a bob too! We love ours!
ReplyDeleteEllie is adorable! My Ben can sit front facing in his stroller now too - it is an exciting milestone!
ReplyDeleteI am always thankful for my wonderful family and friends. But right THIS minute, I am SUPER THANKFUL that Ellie is Miss December 2012. Cannot WAIT to buy up those calendars! She is just so cute, if I say so myself!
ReplyDeleteThankful for having internet support! In one of my darkest hours I Googled "Down Syndrome"......Now Ellie is a part of my life, and I too enjoy seeing the world through her eyes!
