An interview with Ellie to give you a glimpse of her life.

Uncooperative Ellie makes for an interesting interview.

Me: Ellie, what do you want to tell people about your life?
Ellie: I want a treat.  I want a banana.
Me: Come back here.  Tell me what you like to do. What do you like to play?
Ellie: I want to have a treat!
Me: El, what's your favorite thing to do at school?
Ellie: (ignores me, gives Caroline a pacifier.... the picks up her fire hat) I got a fire hat from school!  (puts it on) Now I'm a chef!
Me: A chef?
Ellie: Yeah!
Me: What else do you like to do at school?
Ellie: M__ is asleep.  And G___ is asleep.  (We had just facetimed with some friends.... then she puts the hat over her face.)  I CANNOT SEE, Megan.
Me: (Rolls eyes)  Tell me what you do at school.
Ellie: I wear a fire hat at school!
Me: Who do you play with?
Ellie: Toys!
Me: What do you do for plan-do-review?
Ellie: (Continues playing with the fire hat)
Me: What do you play in Ms. G__'s class?
Ellie: (Identifies the letters in SHAMROCK on my shirt, then sings the ABCs)
Me: I'm giving up on this interview.
