This girl entered the world with high drama. "We will be happy if she gets to 34 weeks" turned into "induction on due date" turned into "c-section the next day."

Ellie spent her first three weeks in the NICU, healing from duodenal atresia surgery and learning to eat.

Ellie had a rough first six months with open heart surgery added to the mix. But by a year, she was a pretty healthy kid.
