Welcome 2014.

We didn't do a lot to kick off 2014, and were asleep by midnight.  I'm okay with it.  Winter break ends tomorrow, and Ellie and I spent a couple of days getting the house organized while Matt was at work.

Added a clock to the living room, put up two gallery walls, and dug my
great-grandma's dishes out.  I'm hanging four on the walls, and this piece landed
in my china cabinet.

I need to find a few other items to add beside the clock and to the wall on the stairs, but I feel like it's a good start.

A couple events upcoming in 2014:

Submitting my National Board Certification for teaching.  There's something like a 38% pass rate, so while my goal is that this is the only submission, I know round two may be part of 2015.

Running another marathon.  I registered last night for the same race where I ran my personal best last year.  I guess I should get training!

We're hoping to take some fun vacations, to spend more time with friends and family, and I'm going to aim to get my real camera out a bit more.
