I didn't come up with anything else to write about Down syndrome, but I did carve a pumpkin with Ellie.
She's painted pumpkins before, and carved them at school, but Tuesday night was Mommy/Ellie night, and we made a pumpkin.
First, we emptied out the seeds. Well, I did. Ellie used the scooper to remove the seeds from the bowl and put them in the pumpkin.
Then, we agreed on a design. I made suggestions and Ellie adjusted them by using the pen herself.
We did the actual carving, and I kid you not, Ellie helped.
Finally, we topped our pumpkin off right!
Happy almost Halloween!
