I have been a blog slacker with the start of the school year.
Ellie loves school. Her first day, her response to "what did you do?" was "PAY ATTENTION!"
Her teacher indicated that a more likely story was Ellie heard the phrase "pay attention!" with regularity.
A week later, Ellie is loving life, loving school, more compliant with teacher requests, and excited to learn and make friends.
She talks about school constantly. I love it.
More updates when I can wrap my brain around lesson plans, parenting a preschooler-toddler-I-am-not-sure-what-to-call-her-with-the-preschool-schedule-and-toddler-behavior, and other start-of-year craziness!
